The Iconic MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

If you've ever been past a MAC counter when a limited edition mineralize collection is released you can count on this brush being there! Not to mention the huge amount of beauty gurus that brag about this brush. Basically this is a multi purpose brush and by that I mean you can apply liquid or powder foundation, blushes, bronzers and powders. It does come with a price tag but do I think it's worth it?

Are EOS Lip Balms Worth The Hype? | Chelsea Posts Beauty

I think I first saw a glimpse of an EOS lip balm in a Miley Cyrus music video years ago (when she was er, normal). Anyway, after that I remember seeing them everywhere online. Apparently even Kim Kardashian and other celebrities are a fan of EOS but there is just one problem. They are so difficult to find/buy in the UK! But I found a UK based site that stocks and sells them to UK residents (hallelujah) I have Strawberry Sorbet and Raspberry Pomegranate to review.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Healthy Balance Unifying Powder Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

The healthy mix/healthy mix serum foundation reviews have been done to death but I haven't really heard or seen anything of the powder counterpart anywhere! I first tried this last year in shade 52 when I randomly purchased it on an introductory offer however I dropped it and it smashed everywhere so I never bothered to pick one back up! I passed my driving theory test the other week (yay!) and treated myself to a few new beauty products. This caught my eye and I've been really liking it ever since.

RED Lipsticks for Fall | Chelsea Posts Beauty

Today is the last day of August! (sigh) However in the UK the weather already decided to resemble Autumn showers and windy days so we're basically already wearing our parkas and scarves. At the very moment I'm typing it's really sunny and warm - whaaat?! Anyway, when it comes to Autumn I personally think of reds, purples and everything inbetween but in this post I'm focusing predominately on celebrity inspired reds.

The Bikini Wishlist | Chelsea Posts Beauty

Summer is quickly ticking away in the UK. If anything it already feels like winter! But before the faux fur coats, scarves and UGG boots make an appearence I still have a few bikinis I've got my eye on. If not for now, perhaps a winter get away. Or if you're one of the lucky bunch to have year-long sun you might want to stock up! Click to see what bikinis I'm lusting for.

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Medium Matte Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty

I think I first heard about Rimmel Sun Shimmer BB in a video by Vivianna Does Makeup quite a while ago when this was first released. She was raving about the Light Matte shade which looked very natural but personally I love a deep dark tan! I usually wear fake tan quite a lot but then I go through phases where I don't wear any whatsoever. During the pale phase I usually always end up missing the tanned look but don't want the commitment of a long lasting tan, hence where this wash off offering from Rimmel walks in! I've reviewed a couple of fake tans but never a wash off version, see what I think below :)

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Duo Contour and Highlight | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

When I first saw this on Bourjois' instagram I was just like O M G I need to buy this! As a fan of the original Delice de Poudre I was totally keen as soon as I saw the half bronze half highlight offering of this new compact. I bought this as part as a 3 for 2 deal the other week (gotta love em') and it's been really fun to use. Not to mention the tasty whiff of chocolate every time I open it! Here's what I think.

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette Storm Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

Despite being a beauty hoarder I only actually own 1 'proper' palette which is the Urban Decay Bamboo palette (I don't even think they sell it anymore!) but this has left me lusting for more palettes! So as quite a newbie to shadow I think this palette is amazing. Anyway, I purchased the Sleek iDivine palette in Storm a couple of weeks ago and I've been using it pretty much every time I've done my makeup - now it's time for a complete review!

Benefit Big Easy BB Cream Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

I've been using this cream for quite a couple of weeks now and especially so in this increasingly hot British Summer weather. That's right, I said hot British Summer weather all in one. So baring that in mind I've had to switch up my base from a standard foundation medium coverage to a lighter base so avoid make-up meltdown. I last mentioned this product on my purple smokey eyes FOTD in June here and I've only just got around to posting a review on what I think! So here we go...

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Dupes? | Beauty UK Shimmer Boxes Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty

How beautiful are these shimmer bricks?! Here I have two Beauty UK Shimmer Boxes in shades Bronze and Rose which in comparison to Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Bricks are very similar in appearance indeed. What is really important for me to note is that Beauty UK's offerings are a very cheap £4.99 whereas Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Bricks are a typical high end price at £32.50! Dupes or not? See what I think...

Topshop Chameleon Glow in Shuffle The Cards Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

I've only ever tried Topshop's cream blushes and nail varnishes and from what I've tried I rate Topshops makeup quite highly. So the other week I was shopping at Topshop (as per usual) and as I was waiting in line for the till I couldn't help but notice their make-up stand (damn you last minute purchases!) and 3 little tester pots of metallic powder stood out like no other. It was my time to be served so I quickly snapped up this pretty rose golden powder in 'Shuffle The Cards' and here's what I think...

FOTD Subtle Purple Smokey Eyes | Chelsea Posts Beauty

For my makeup look today I thought I would do something a little different - pop in a bit of purple. If you follow me via twitter @ChelPostsBeauty you will know that recently I won an amazing Clinique prize from Dave Lackie (He does amazing Twitter comps literally all the time!) featuring some summer beauty essentials and I have incorporated some of them into my look! Check out what I've used below. How pretty are the shadows in the palette?

Summer Face Treats | Benefit Sugarbomb Blush and Gloss Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty

When you've got a tonne of blushes and glosses a lot of them tend to go astray. I've had this pair for around 2 years now and after digging through my collection to find some pretty summer blushes I found that these two are the perfect pairing for summer. In terms of the cardboard packaging of the box its a little battered but not too bad! A quick mini review of these two pretty pink products laced with fine shimmer.

Summer Face Base Essentials | Chelsea Posts Beauty

Hey everyone. The weather here in the UK is slowly heating up meaning makeup meltdowns are upon us. In this post I've thrown together a few products from my stash which I think will help give some coverage and prevent any greasy faces during the summer months. To perfect your basic base I've included a variety of BBs, to powder, to concealer and bronzer.

The Best Nude MAC Lipsticks | Chelsea Posts Beauty Update

Basically this is an updated post on what I think are the best nude MAC lipsticks available in the permanent line. These shades are a combination of pink/peachy nudes. Most of which will suit a variety of skintones. Nothing like a lipstick that is a one shade suits all sorta colour!

LOTS of pictures + swatches included

LUSH Let The Good Times Roll Cleanser Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

I've used 4 other Lush cleansers before (Aqua Marina, Herbalism, Angels on Bare Skin and Ocean Salt) and I loved using them. They are packed full of natural ingredients and are quite interesting to use! Let The Good Times Roll is no exception. It is more of an ex-foliating cleanser compared to the likes of Aqua Marina and Herbalism but I would consider it one of the best exfoliants I have tried from Lush ever before.

7 Pink MAC Lipsticks Every Girl Should Have | Chelsea Posts Beauty

A girl can never have enough MAC lipsticks. Whether your a newbie looking for your first MAC lippie or hoarding more into your collection look no further than my favourite pink offerings in my collection. I've been asked a few times which pink lipsticks I would recommend so in this post I have featured a selection of pinks ranging from dark mauve pink to very pale baby pink. As well as a variety of shades I have also included a variety of formulations which MAC have to offer which also have an impact on the colour and feel each lipstick. I've featured pictures of the lipstick in the tube as well as swatches as I think some lipsticks look totally different compared to when they are swatched how they look in the tube, confusing huh

CHANEL Perfection Lumiere Velvet Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

Hey everyone. Recently I've just finished my exams meaning lots of new posts will be popping up all over the place! So Chanel's latest offering was released a month ago I believe and for a good two weeks now I've been putting the new Perfection Lumiere Velvet to the test and here are my overall thoughts.

The Return | Chelsea Posts Beauty

I'm back! If you're a little confused I have slightly altered the name of my blog to Chelsea Posts Beauty (Formerly Chelsea Girl Posts) I decided that as it has been a while I wanted to make a few big changes around here - that includes the quality of my photos!
The last time I recall posting was Thursday 26th September 2013. 2013?! Yes it was that long ago, sigh. Basically I've been battling college work since then and I've neglected my dear blog and readers (I'm so sorry!) So much has happened since my last post. For example I went back for my second visit to India in December (Amazing!) and I have had my mitts on some of the best releases in the beauty world up to date. Well I'd love to announce that I am back and posting!

Thanks for reading x
