Summer Face Treats | Benefit Sugarbomb Blush and Gloss Review | Chelsea Posts Beauty

When you've got a tonne of blushes and glosses a lot of them tend to go astray. I've had this pair for around 2 years now and after digging through my collection to find some pretty summer blushes I found that these two are the perfect pairing for summer. In terms of the cardboard packaging of the box its a little battered but not too bad! A quick mini review of these two pretty pink products laced with fine shimmer.

I had to tilt the box into direct sunlight to capture the shimmer within the box, the sun is so unreliable! Sugarbomb blush is a pretty pink blush divided into 4 segments. I guess you could use each segment individually with a tiny brush but you don't get much colour pay off. The best way to grab pigment is swirling your brush in all 4 shades and tapping off any excess. It's quite a sheer shade so on darker skintones this may be suited better layered on top of other pink/peach blushes or even used as a highlight shade.
Here is the powder and lipgloss swatched. The gloss is very pigmented compared to the other Benefit Ultra Plush Lipglosses (In comparison to the full original line and Benefit Coralista gloss) and it is a berry pink hue with fine shimmer which you cannot feel on the lips. It is not sticky whatsoever and glides on nice and smoothly. Wear time is around 2 hours before the need for reapplication. This is actually quite a heavy swatch of the blush, as you can see the inner side of my arm is quite pale and you can just about see the colour given off which is a sheer peach colour. I've tried and seen this colour on a variety of skintones and this can pull either quite pink or peach on your skin, if you want it to lean more pink try concentrating on the 3 pink shades within the box whilst your swirling your brush inside!

Non sticky, not heavy, pretty pink and laced with shimmers - the perfect summer duo from benefit! Purchase the Sugarbomb blush £23.50 and lipgloss £14.50 at Boots. Thanks for reading my mini thoughts post xx
