Hot Summer OPI Nail Varnish Picks | Chelsea Posts Beauty

We are verging towards the end of Summer now with a few weeks to go until September, so it's time for us to make the most of our bright nail and lip combos and stand out like there's no tomorrow! I was rummaging through some of my empty Christmas gift-sized perfume boxes (Which make excellent storage for nail polishes! note to self make a post) looking for some gorgeous varnishes when I stumbled across these two OPI beauties...

OPI La Paz-itively Hot 15ml
A bright, cool toned fushia pink. This is the shade I'm wearing at the moment, this looks amazing with a tan or perfect to brighten up a white crochet dress!

''Perfect for when you’re “Bo-livia La Vida Loca”, La Paz Itively Hot was originally part of the South American Collection. This sizzling shade has a coolness that makes it blend with pale skin tones, and pop on dark and olive skin; making it universally flattering for all skin tones. Free from DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde, it applies flawlessly too.''
OPI Hot 'n' Spicy 15ml
A bright, warm toned coral leaning orange shade. This shade can either lean more coral or orange toned depending on your actual skin tone, if your paler this does look more orange but is totally wearable.

''Give your nails some kung pao wow with OPI Hot & Spicy Nail Lacquer, a sizzling coral shade. Taking inspiration from Hong Kong, an edgy city where old meets new, this exquisitely modern shade brings this season’s fashion to life.''

Wearing La Paz-itively Hot
As with every OPI polish I've tried, the colour becomes completely opaque after just one coat (I recommend layering 2 coats to see the full intensity). They wear a full 5 days without chipping without a top coat, personally I don't wear a top coat on nail varnish as I feel that these give you amazing shine on their own and last ages! A top coat will more than likely guarantee a further 2+ days wear on these varnishes. These shades are easy to remove and did not stain my nails when worn without a base coat despite their bright colours! Treat yourself.

OPI Nail Polishes (including shown) can be purchased at Beauty Bay for £11 each
