Lush Charisma and Feeling Younger Skin Tints | Chelsea Posts Beauty Review

My first Lush Product Entry! Starring Charisma Skin tint and Feeling Younger Skin tint, which can be both purchased at Lush at £12 for 20g of product each in a sturdy screw cap pot.

Don't be put off by their size, they will last you AGES
Less is more with this product.

Both pots are glass, so these may not be suitable for travelling! However, the screw cap is surprisingly very secure when screwed tight so this I would think it would be perfectly fine to pop one in your bag if your on the go for touch ups throughout the day.
 What's the difference?
Yes they are both skin tints, but both have different purposes. Charisma is more of a bronzer type tint to give you more of a warm holiday glow whereas Feeling Younger is more of a highlighter. Both tints are very versatile and can be used in numerous of ways on the body or face.
''Charisma is a blend of golden colours to wear under your make-up to give you a healthy, warm glow. Great on tanned skins, or for paler skins to give a bronzed effect.''

Here are the list of ingredients:
''Oatmeal Decoction, Orange Flower Water, Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Glycerine, Stearic Acid,Triethanolamine, Jojoba Oil, Titanium Dioxide,Cetearyl Alcohol, CI77491, CI77499, CI77019,Methylparaben, Propylparaben''
''Feeling Younger contains ‘magic orange’ pigment which works as a reflector on the skin, making it look bright and youthful. You can use it in lots of ways – as a highlighter on the brow bone and eyelid to really open up the eye; on the cheekbone for a youthful glow; under the eye to minimise the appearance of dark circles; or on the décolletage for a sexy shimmer.''

 Charisma Skin Tint Swatch
Charisma is a copper toned tint can be used mixed in with moisturiser or after to give an overall warming glow effect to the face or can be used alone (Which I prefer) as a bronzer or under your bronzer/contour to prolong the length of time your powder wears, I feel that this is the best way to use this tint - and it works!

As you can see the tint does blend in very well, I've used this during winter time when I was around NC15 and this still looked beautiful. Less is more for paler skintones, whereas you can build this up for darker or tan skintones. I am a lot darker now, around NC25, which I was matched for my MAC makeover the other week! The lady couldn't believe that I was an NC15

It has a beautiful golden sheen when in sunlight, so it looks amazing with a tan!
It's an overall fab bronzer, I've also used this sparingly to highlight my shins and make them look sunkissed. Another great way to use this tint is by mixing it in your body moisturiser as a faux tan!

I suggest that if you use a brush with this that you use a stippling brush as this was the easiest way to blend the product and look flawless. Using your fingers definitely gives you a more natural look, remember to use sparingly and dab dab dab!
Feeling Younger Skin Tint Swatch
Feeling Younger is a mousse type texture, it feels a lot thicker compared to the Charisma tint and needs blending a bit more! Like I said previously, less is more when it comes to these tints so build it up gradually to avoid looking fake. Best used with fingers and doing the dabbing method.

Similar to the Charisma tint you can mix this in with moisturiser to achieve an overall glowing look, I don't recommend that you apply this as an overall base after or before moisturising as you will end up looking like a disco ball.

Due to how thick this is I do feel like this does last a long time on the skin, yet I prefer to use a powder highlighter on top as I do have oily skin and this does has the tendency to slide.

It doesn't cover dark circles but it looks good on top of regular concealer to highlight the eye area, but if you don't wear concealer underneath be warned it will emphasise your circles!

I prefer to use this alone on the cupids bow, brow bones and collar bone. It's also perfect for pale skin to highlight the shins or by mixing in with your body moisturiser!

These pots will last you a long time as you only have to use a small amount at a time, feeling younger is better for paler skins that want to highlight rather than charisma that is more of a bronzer or highlight for tanned skins.

How do you use your tints? Any questions - Just ask!

  1. Do you think these products would be okay for oily skin? Because I find that heavy, creamy products tend to make me break out, whereas if they are light and 'delicate' then I am DEFINITELY heading down to lush tomorrow! Xxx lovely post!

    1. Thank you! :) I suffer from the same problem but you don't get it with these! A stippling brush will make the texture more sheer if you are deadly afraid of cream products, charisma is probably the best call as it can be worn under powder bronzer to last all day and it doesn't break me out :) Feeling Younger is more thicker xxxx
